Jason Stuart

As confirmed by his official bio, Jason Stuart is an outrageously funny openly-gay comedian, “known for serving-up brutal honesty with humor in a world that’s not always kind. In his new show, I’m Only Gay On The Weekends, Stuart takes audiences on a hilarious journey with his latest realization, 'I’m just too busy to be gay all week…and the up-keep is just too much!'

Stuart just completed an engagement at the Tropicana Hotel in Vegas and has been making people across the country laugh out loud for over 20 years. With a 'Don Rickles' comedic style, this crowd-pleaser transcends the boundaries of race, gender and sexual orientation sharing his experiences as a single Jewish gay man living in Hollywood. He has performed at hundreds of comedy clubs, in addition to LGBT events, the Montreal Comedy Festival, Broadway and to 100,000 people at the Millennium March in D.C.

He just wrapped a major supporting role, as plantation owner Joseph Randall in the Nat Turner bio-pic THE BIRTH OF A NATION starring Nate Parker and Armie Hammer. This film is a game changer for the out actor as he plays a straight man. He also notably appears in filmmaker Sean Baker’s Sundance Festival hit, TANGERINE, which gained attention for being shot entirely on an iPhone.

Stuart also directed and stars in the award-winning web series, MENTOR, which takes a humorous but touching look at the realities of pursuing your dreams…also starring Alexandra Paul & Paul Elia.

Stuart’s work transcends from entertainment to real-life as an advocate and mentor. Jason says, “PS I love you because…”

  1. I can feel young again.  It's nice when middle age is not old… its a new beginning!
  2. I get to see my mother complain that I'm not eating enough… And sit at her house as she asks me why I have to leave so soon.
  3. of all the history of old Hollywood. You can run into Carol Channing or Kaye Ballard at Street Bar!
  4. Some many hot men but so little time! You can go to the Tool Shed and meet a daddy, or to Hunters where you can be a Daddy!
  5. You don't have to wear pants at many of the hotels…well most of them!

Jason, I've known you for almost thirty years.  How did THAT happen?  At any rate, I'm glad it did for both of us, and I'm so grateful for your decades of activism and entertainment.

Thank you for all you do!

xoxo
