โ€œThis year weโ€™re giving those planning to Walk a new and fun way to let others on social media know about their passion for the Walk, with our โ€˜Heroes4Zeroโ€™ sharing opportunity,โ€ said Darrell L. Tucci, Chief Development Officer at Desert AIDS Project. โ€œItโ€™s all summarized on the home page: sign up, tell friends, win prizes.โ€

A few quick and easy steps atย heroes4zero.orgย and anyone can be creating awareness for the Walk through a collection of pictures and videos they share on Facebook and Twitter. โ€œWhether you Walk individually, as part of a team, or make a donation to someone else whoโ€™s Walking, Heroes4Zero is a great way to let everyone know that we wonโ€™t rest until we reach that AIDS-free generation with zero new HIV infections,โ€ Tucci continued. โ€œAnyone registering as an individual Walker or creating a Walk team atย desertaidswalk.orgย will find Heroes4Zero a great way to share their involvement in an even stronger way.โ€

Once again, organizations like AIDS Assistance Program, the Mizell Senior Center, Planned Parenthood, the LGBT Community Center, and so many others are going to be joining the Desert AIDS Walk, raising money, not only for D.A.P. but also for their own organizations. Some of them have also signed up for booths in the Walgreens Health and Wellness Village.

Donโ€™t miss the fun and the fundraising. Walk yourself โ€ฆ join a team โ€ฆ support someone else whoโ€™s Walking โ€ฆ help D.A.P. reach its fundraising goal of $325,000 โ€ฆ and become a Hero4Zero!
