The Palm Springs Public Library Foundation has announced the complete lineup for the 5th Annual Pride on the Page Book Festival, taking place Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. This milestone year celebrates the theme “Five Years of Pride on the Page: Our Lives, Our Words, Our Stories,” highlighting memoirs and personal narratives that reflect the depth and diversity of LGBTQ+ experiences.

Special Guests & Headliners
Newly added guests include comedian and actor Murray Hill, joined by actor, comedian, and writer Tim Bagley for a lively discussion of Hill’s memoir Showbiz! My Life as a Middle-Aged Man. Their conversation closes the daytime program.
The evening program features Grammy‑nominated country artist Ty Herndon, whose memoir What Mattered Most chronicles his rise to stardom, struggles with addiction and mental health, and his historic coming‑out moment in 2014. Herndon will appear in conversation with Corey Roskin, co‑creator of Pride on the Page.

The festival’s daytime sessions include intimate discussions exploring identity, activism, family, culture, and the craft of memoir:

- Breaking Free: A Queer Black Man’s Journey – Phill Branch (The Double Dutch Fuss) with Geoffrey Newman
- LGBTQ+ Social Change Through Pop Culture – Lisa M. Stulberg (How to Win a Culture War) with Jen Richards
- A “Showbiz!” Life – Murray Hill (Showbiz!) with Tim Bagley
Outdoor Festival Tent & Free Books
Throughout the day, attendees can explore the free outdoor festival tent, featuring local LGBTQ+ authors, independent publishers, community organizations, and book signings. Books by featured authors will be available for purchase from The Best Bookstore in Palm Springs.
To celebrate the festival’s fifth anniversary, free copies of each featured author’s book will be distributed—30 copies per author during the daytime program and 50 copies during the evening event. A festival wristband and registration are required, and books are first‑come, first‑served.
Anniversary Celebration
The festival concludes with a 5th Anniversary Celebration featuring refreshments, socializing, and live music from Leanna & Miguel under the outdoor tent—bringing together authors, readers, and the community to honor five years of LGBTQ+ storytelling.
