“Timothée Chalamet will receive the Chairman’s Award for his performance in Searchlight Pictures’ “A Complete Unknown” at the Palm Springs International Film Awards. The ceremony will take place on Jan. 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The festival will run from Jan. 2 through 14, and opens with “Better Man,” with “The Penguin Lessons” as closing film.
