The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert has unveiled a new online survey aimed at capturing the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals across the Coachella Valley. Open through October 31, the survey invites full- and part-time residents to share insights on community connection, access to services, safety, and discrimination. Available in English and Spanish, the survey is anonymous and designed to shape future programming and geographic expansion.
“This is a chance to hear directly from those we serve — and those we’ve yet to serve,” said CEO Mike Thompson. The Center collaborated with HMA Community Strategies and conducted months of focus groups to ensure the survey reflects the community’s most pressing concerns. Preliminary results will be shared later this year, followed by Community Convenings in early 2026.
