The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Palm Springs will celebrate two local champions of equality at its 24th Annual Garden Party fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The City of Palm Springs will receive the HRC Community Leadership Award for its perfect scores on the Municipal Equality Index in 2023 and 2024, while the Transgender Health & Wellness Center will be honored with the HRC Community Impact Award for its affirming care and youth support across the Coachella Valley.
The event, held at a private Palm Springs estate from 2:00–4:30 p.m., will feature remarks from HRC National Press Secretary Brandon Wolf. Award presentations will be made by longtime HRC leader Andy Linsky and acclaimed actress and activist Alexandra Billings.
“This is a rallying call for our community,” said Brian O’Connor, executive producer and steering committee chair. “Our honorees reflect the best of us — courageous, compassionate, and committed to equality.”
