Red Dress Dress Red 2026

Red Dress Dress Red, the largest and most exuberant annual fundraiser hosted by The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert, is gearing up for its return next month—and organizers are urging attendees to prepare early. Tickets for the highly anticipated event go on sale to the general public at 9 am on Wednesday, February 11 through thecentercv.org, and demand is expected to be intense. As in previous years, the event is projected to sell out quickly. This year’s Red Dress Dress Red will take place on Saturday, March 21 from 8 pm to midnight at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

More than 3,500 attendees will gather for a night defined by bold creativity, community joy, and expressive fashion. The evening features live entertainment, popular local DJs, food samples from area restaurants, and the famously imaginative red‑themed outfits that have become a hallmark of the celebration.

Reduce, Reuse, Redress invites the community to refresh their closets with purpose on Saturday, February 7 from 2–7 pm at participating businesses in the Arenas District. Guests are encouraged to donate their previously worn but still fabulous Red Dress Dress Red outfits, all of which will help stock a special pop‑up resale event on February 21. Every donation earns an entry into prize drawings for pairs of general admission RDDR tickets, RDDR tickets, or tickets to the Sunday pool party, making this drop‑off day both stylish and rewarding. More info

Since its modest debut in 2012, Red Dress Dress Red has grown into one of the Coachella Valley’s signature annual events. Readers of the Coachella Valley Independent recently named it the region’s Best Charity Event for the third consecutive year.

Beyond its reputation as the desert’s most vibrant party, Red Dress Dress Red plays a crucial role in supporting The Center’s mission of creating a more connected, resilient, and thriving LGBTQ+ community. Funds raised help sustain programs and services across the Coachella Valley, from behavioral health support to food assistance, youth programs, and community-building initiatives.

The celebration continues throughout the weekend with two additional events. On Sunday, March 22, the Palm Springs Surf Club will host Rebound, a next‑day pool party open to the community. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased beginning February 11 along with Red Dress Dress Red admission. That same day, Pinkies Up, a lively high tea benefiting The Center, will take place at Willie’s Modern Fare in Rancho Mirage. Reservations for Pinkies Up may be made by emailing willie@williesrm.com or calling (760) 501‑0167.

Sponsors include Sanctuary Spiritual, Arnie Kassoy, Glenn Johnson, Michael Melancon and Alex Schalasky, Contractors State License Schools, Megasource Hospitality Resources, and David Hood and George Sellers.
