Megan Mullally, celebrated for her role as Karen Walker on the television series Will and Grace and Nick Offerman, best known for his role as Ron Swanson on the television series Parks and Recreation, together will appear in Palm Springs on Friday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Richards Center for the Arts, Palm Springs High School. They will be the kickoff speakers for the second season of the speaker series Palm Springs Speaks. At the event they will discuss their new book, THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD: An Oral History and reveal the full story behind their epic romance–presented in a series of intimate conversations between the couple, including photos, anecdotes, and the occasional puzzle.

A collaboration between the Friends of the Palm Springs Library and the Palm Springs Cultural Center, Palm Springs Speaks launched last season featuring a diverse selection of internationally known speakers and authors including Dan Savage, Vice President Al Gore, Dr. Deepak Chopra and best-selling author Lisa Scottoline. Tickets for the Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman event are now available to purchase at palmspringsspeaks.org. Tickets start at just $30 and include a copy of the book.

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman have been a couple for nearly twenty years and married for fifteen, which in the world of Hollywood is closer to 102 years.
