In its new location at the Palm Springs Air Museum, the show will feature 40 premier national and international decorative and fine arts dealers presenting their wares to thousands of collectors and design enthusiasts who flock to the event in search of the best treasures. Making their first appearance at the Modernism Show & Sale will be Space 20th Century Modern from Oklahoma City, as well as California merchants Archive Laguna Hills, Funkis Inc. from Venice, and Beverly Hills-based Silk Road Modern & Vintage Rugs.
Also new to the Show and Sale and introducing 21st century items are contemporary art dealers Pergamena Fine Art from Fort Collins, CO, AHRRS Inc. Contemporary of Paris and Los Angeles, and The Blue Azul Collection from San Diego. Returning favorites include Casa Navarro Gallery from Santa Fe, PCH Modern from Palos Verdes Estates, and local retailers Route 66 West and Christopher Anthony Ltd. – who relocated their homes and businesses to Palm Springs from other states thanks to their affiliation with the show.
Produced by Dolphin Promotions, whose shows are among the leading venues for antiques and 20th century decorative and fine arts in North America, the Show and Sale continues to be one of Modernism Week’s most highly-anticipated and well-attended events.
“The success of our shows in October and February is not a mystery,” explained Rosemary Krieger, President of Dolphin Promotions. “As Modernism Week attendees tour classic midcentury homes filled with cool vintage furnishings, it’s natural for them to want to bring a bit of that nostalgic style into their own dwellings. Our dealers are dedicated to showcasing the best selections from all design movements. Their collections are amazing!”
