MeTV 92.1 FM

MeTV FM is officially returning to the Coachella Valley, with KGAY PSP announcing that the beloved station will relaunch on 92.1 FM beginning Monday, August 3, 2026. Described as the valley’s “radio gold mine,” MeTV FM rejoins KGAY PSP’s media family alongside KGAY 103.1 FM, Sunny 106.5 FM, Gay Desert Guide, and Oasis Marketing Group.

The station serves as the radio companion to MeTV, America’s #1 classic television network, known for iconic programs such as The Golden Girls, MASH*, The Carol Burnett Show, and The Love Boat. Its music format features “a unique mix of timeless and memorable music,” spanning the ’60s and ’70s with touches of the ’50s and ’80s. With a library of more than 3,500 songs and over 350 tracks played daily with no repeats, listeners can expect deep cuts, classic hits, and softer favorites.

KGAY PSP Owner and CEO Brad Fuhr said the return comes after strong demand from fans who missed the station’s signature blend of nostalgia and variety. He highlighted a new feature called “Mid‑Century Memorable,” showcasing classics from artists like Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Shelley Fabares, Frankie Avalon, and Sam Cooke — songs Fuhr noted “have stood the test of time.”

“When we switched formats late last year to move KGAY to a better frequency, we also launched Sunny 106.5 in our radio family,” said Brad Fuhr, Owner and CEO of KGAY PSP. “Sunny 106.5 quickly developed its own loyal audience, but we heard repeatedly from MeTV FM fans that they missed the music, the memories, and the unique companion on the radio that MeTV FM provides. We are thrilled to bring 92.1 MeTV FM back home to the Coachella Valley dial. Our team is committed to delivering great music of all genres and this return reinforces our mission to offer diverse, top-quality local broadcasting.”

Listeners will also enjoy curated playlists featuring The Beatles, Elton John, Carole King, Diana Ross and the Supremes, ABBA, and more, plus themed programming such as the Back‑2‑Back Snack, #1 Song of the Day, One Hit Wonder at One, Yacht Rock Saturday Night, and Disco Dance Party. Special weekend themes will celebrate milestones like Woodstock, Mexican Independence Day, and seasonal events.

In August, days will honor B.J. Thomas, Dan Fogelberg, Jimmy Webb, Kenny Rogers, Barry Gibb, Peter Cetera, Bill Medley, Olivia Newton-John and more as the months progress.

Beginning Monday, August 3, MeTV FM can be heard on 92.1 FM. MeTV FM broadcasts on KMEE, 92.1 Thermal, CA in a time brokerage agreement with KGAY PSP
