Metropolitan Fashion Week returns to Palm Springs with one of its most glamorous and meaningful events yet, as the iconic Frank Sinatra Twin Palms Estate hosts a spectacular evening of fashion, art, and philanthropy on Sunday, April 26, 2026. Presented in support of The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert (The Center), the event transforms Sinatraโs legendary MidโCentury Modern home into a cinematic runway where classic Hollywood romance meets cuttingโedge design.
This yearโs theme, โThe Way You Look Tonight,โ brings together internationally acclaimed designers Douglas Tapia and Arturo Rios for an exclusive showcase inspired by the golden age of cinema, reimagined with modern sophistication. The evening continues with โRat Pack Fashionโ by Metropolitan Fashion Menโs Formal Wear, celebrating impeccable tailoring and timeless Palm Springs elegance.
As the sun sets behind the San Jacinto Mountains, the estateโs iconic pianoโshaped pool becomes the backdrop for a resortโstyle runway featuring menโs swimwear by Parke & Ronen, presented by Peepas Menโs Store, and womenโs swimwear by ADICORA Swimwear. The night culminates in a vibrant artistic finale honoring beloved Palm Springs artist Shag, whose midโcenturyโinspired work will come to life through an immersive, interactive installation.
Hosted by KESQโs Peter Daut and Katie Boer, with Emmyโwinning journalist Jake Ingrassia as presenter, the event blends high fashion with community impact. Proceeds benefit The Center, whose mission of creating vibrant community and supporting LGBTQ+ people across the Coachella Valley continues to make it one of the nationโs most admired nonprofits.
Tickets are limited and available at Metropolitan Fashion Week โ April 26, 2026, with press credentials at TheMetropolitanFashion.com. More information about The Center can be found at thecentercv.org.
