When was the last time you were dancing out in a vineyard with the sun setting & the moon rising, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards while enjoying world-class wines? That is the Twilight T-Dance.

Now we all know what a T-Dance is but trust me when we say that there was some educating that needed to happen when the concept was first brought up to a winery. We had to go back to “Gay 101!” Thankful to say the first Twilight T-Dance was a huge success out the gate and we haven’t stopped since.

Out In The Vineyard’s Twilight T-Dance dates to 2008 when it was a stand-alone event for the first three years. It was at that time that guests started to ask where they could stay while in Wine Country, where to dine and which wineries to visit. It was then that the concept for Gay Wine Weekend was born, and the Twilight T-Dance became the signature event of the weekend’s activities and experiences.

The first few years the T-Dance was held in several locations, until it found a home at Chateau St. Jean Winery in Sonoma Valley. Chateau St. Jean is one of the most iconic wineries in Sonoma, rich in history with its award-winning wines and beautiful estate grounds. This summer’s Twilight T-Dance will be the fifth time that the event will take place at the estate.

he evening begins with a VIP reception in the beautiful Rose Garden at Chateau St. Jean. Guests get to graze on the delectable Hors D’oeuvres prepared by Gay Wine Weekend’s official Caterer, Chef Chad from Classic Culinaire Caters. All the while the wines of Chateau St. Jean are flowing.

Immediately following the VIP Reception, guests can walk towards the Grand Lawn Pavilion where the dancing begins. We are excited to announce that DJ Ryan Kenney from Los Angeles will be spinning the tunes under the moonlight at this year’s dance.

The setting on the grand lawn of the estate is a true stunner. Vineyards surround you with a dance floor set amid the estate grounds, a disco ball lighting up the night along with the moon.
