“Call Me Brother” – California Theatrical Premiere

On Saturday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m., The Palm Springs Cultural Center is hosting the California theatrical premiere of Call Me Brother, a coming-of-age romantic comedy about a brother and sister in their late teens who are reunited after years of separation only to discover intimate feelings they struggle to confront. Between immature friends and dysfunctional parents, they find comfort in each other over a wistful and awkward summer weekend. “Dog Days of Summer” Opening Reception

The Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter and UC Riverside Palm Desert are celebrating our fine friends of fin and fur through art with “Dog Days of Summer,” an art show about animals featuring the work of Karen & Tony Barone and other local artists. The opening reception will be held Friday, July 19 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at UCR Palm Desert and guests are encouraged to bring donations of dry dog food or canned cat food for the shelter’s Pet Food Bank. Palm Springs Farmers’ Market is Indoors for Summer

The Palm Springs Certified Farmers’ Market takes it indoors to the Palm Springs Pavilion at 401 S.
