Happy Hour with your dog? Benefiting animal rescue? A chance to socialize your dog and meet other animal lovers? Yes, it’s Palm Springs Yappy Hour! This popular, outdoor community event returns for the season on Thursday November 10 from 4-6pm. Palm Springs Yappy Hour will be held on the second Thursday of the month through April. Dates are Nov 10, Dec. 8, Jan. 12, Feb. 9, and April 13. Dog lovers with well behaved, leashed dogs and animal lovers without dogs are all invited for the fun. Palm Springs Yappy Hour benefits Animal Samaritans, a 501©3 charity established in 1978 to improve the lives of animals and people. Animal Samaritans believes in the power of human-animal connections.

Resort Setting, Food, Drinks, and Music

Suggested admission to Palm Springs Yappy Hour is $20+ and includes complimentary wine and prosecco, passed hors d’oeuvres; dog treats for the pooches, raffle prizes, and live musical entertainment each month. Wabi Sabi Japan Living also provides complimentary sake tastings. A cash cocktail bar offers a full bar with specialty drinks and nonalcoholic options. The Desert Rose Garden at Margaritaville has a big grassy area for dogs and café style seating is provided for people’s comfort. Nearby self-parking is free.
