Palm Springs, CA – A Vigil for the Orlando Victims of the horrific attack on the LGBT club Pulse will be held this evening at 6:30 pmon Arenas Road between Indian Canyon and Calle Encilia, announced Mike Thompson, CEO.
“Not only are we shocked and saddened by this attack on not only our LGBT brothers and sisters, but all Americans. As we gather this evening to express our solidarity and sadness, we calling for an end to the hatred that is being expressed by politicians and others that are seeking to divide, rather than united us,” said Thompson. “Religious, racial, and anti-LGBT hatred must stop.”
With this news of 50 people dead, and more wounded, June 12 will be forever etched in our communities' history as a day of grief. The LGBT Center of the Desert stands with Mayor Robert Moon, along with all our city leaders, and many allies across the country in expressing our deep sadness at this horrific event
