Palm Springs Newark United Announcement

Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is expanding its connections to the East Coast as United Airlines announces the return of nonstop seasonal service between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and PSP, effective December 18, 2025.

This marks a significant return after more than five years, re-establishing a crucial nonstop link between the Coachella Valley and the New York metropolitan area. The new United route complements existing nonstop options to New York provided by Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

The service will operate five to seven times per week, depending on the month, utilizing a Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Flights are scheduled to run through April 29, 2026.

“We’re delighted to see United continue growing at PSP, with Newark service returning this winter and LAX flights coming back earlier than last year,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., Executive Director of Aviation at Palm Springs International Airport. He added that these additions reflect the airport’s commitment to “thoughtful, strategic growthโ€”expanding access, supporting economic opportunity, and delivering the exceptional travel experience our community expects”.

The United Airlines EWR-PSP schedule is as follows, operating December 18, 2025 โ€“ April 29, 2026:

  • EWR to PSP: Departs 8:30 AM, Arrives 11:47 AM
  • PSP to EWR: Departs 2:00 PM, Arrives 10:01 PM
  • Flight times are subject to change.

Flights are currently available for booking on united.com and via the United app.
