The Transgender Health & Wellness Center proudly announces Trans Pride 2026: “Empower and Employ,” an annual community celebration set to take place at the Demuth Community Center in Palm Springs, CA.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the event aims to uplift and empower transgender, gender non-conforming, intersex (TGI), and allied individuals while fostering positive visibility, connection, and inclusion. This year’s theme, “Empower and Employ,” highlights professional development, workplace inclusion, and wellness-centered resources specifically for the TGI community.
Attendees can expect a full schedule of engaging activities, empowering discussions, and entertainment, all designed to support healthy, thriving, and self-determined lives. The event is pleased to welcome Tacontodo and Quench & Refresh as official food vendors.
Disparities and Mission
The event is designed to confront significant disparities faced by the TGI community. According to a 2015 Inland Empire report, 56.9% of TGI individuals in the region hold higher education credentials, yet many earn less than $20,000 per year. Trans Pride 2026 actively seeks to address this by promoting empowerment and encouraging local businesses to hire and uplift transgender workers.
