ZACH NOE TOWERS, one of Time Out Magazine’s 2018 Comedians to Watch, will headline Last Laugh Wednesday (LLW) at Oscar’s Palm Springs, August 25. Fresh and funny, you may have seen Zach on Comedy Central, Netflix and HBOMax. He also hosts E!’s Dating: No Filter and was selected as one of the New Faces of Comedy at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.
Zach also hosted 4 seasons of The Elite Daily Show on Verizon’s Go90 network. He starred in the feature presentation of Out On Stage. MARY KENNEDY has a long list of professional comedy and acting credits. You know her from HBO, Comedy Central and the USA Network. Recently, she’s been doing the live comedy show Showtime’s Funny Women Of A Certain Age. Mary also played recurring character, New Fiona on Showtime’s Shameless final season. She begins production soon on a new movie with Jon Lovitz and Stephan Glickman (Big Time Rush), set for a 2022 release.
Mary is a regular at Laugh Factory, and warm-up comic for live game show Who’s King of the Water Cooler at Ontario and Irvine Improvs. She has appeared in comedy clubs all over the country including Caroline’s, The Comic Strip and Stand Up New York. Mary performed in the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter Competition, Hampton’s Comedy Festival and 3 times in Boston Comedy Festival.
L.A. native, JOE DUNGAN has been performing and writing comedy for decades. He did improv in his 20s because that’s the law in L.A., and has since done stand-up at clubs, colleges, and corporate events all over the US. He’s appeared in numerous festivals, including Seattle International Comedy Competition and four appearances in The World Series of Comedy. Joe was crowned the winner of The Clean Comedy Challenge at the legendary Ice House in Pasadena. He’s also written and punched up speeches, presentations, and roasts, for clients ranging from Nike engineers to George Takei.
Joe’s appeared in sketches on Funny or Die as well as on stage, including the one-man show White Whine with Roman Blanco (critic’s pick, Backstage). He’s also author of L.A. Nuts, a series of essays about Los Angeles, which won first place in the Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards. Currently, he hosts Joe Dungan’s Talk Show, a weekly talk show about people with unique stories. He also once emceed a quinceanera for a dog.
Local comedian MAX MITCHELL will host and produce Last Laugh Wednesday at Oscar’s the last Wednesday of each month. Mitchell has hosted and created shows at Oscars and other venues in LA and Coachella Valley.
