More than 550 guests attended the 23rd HRC (Human Rights Campaign) Palm Springs Garden Party presented by Silvercrest on Saturday November 2nd. The event was hosted at the former Gene Autry Estate in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs.
This community supported event brought together members from across the nation along with friends, advocates and allies dressed in stylish and festive garden party attire for an afternoon of connection and inspired action, all in the name of EQUALITY.

The event’s keynote speaker was HRC President Kelley Robinson. Robinson is a trailblazing advocate and leader in the fight for human rights and is the first Black, queer woman to hold this position. With over 15 years of experience, Robinson has spearheaded numerous successful campaigns for LGBTQ+, racial, and gender equity. As a mark of her influence, Robinson was named to the 2024 TIME100.
HRC also presented its highly regarded VISIBILTY AWARD to Actor/Producer and local Palm Springs resident Jonathan Bennett of Mean Girls fame. Bennett has hosted many Food TV Networks shows, appeared on Broadway and is more recently known for his work on the Hallmark Channel where continues to work to bring more LGBTQ storylines to television and movies.
HRC is the largest civil rights organization in the United States, dedicated to achieving equality and liberation for LGBTQ+ individuals.
