The Purple Room welcomes this June: Multi-talented entertainer Sam Harris, soulful crooner Jonathan Karrant, Elvis tribute performer Scot Bruce, powerhouse trio Lady Luck, Palm Springs JUMP! and more.
The original Star Search winner, Sam Harris, brings his powerhouse vocals to the Purple Room for two performances in June, and crooner Jonathan Karrant returns to share his jazzy take on timeless classics. Scot Bruce brings young Elvis back to life in his tribute show. Kal David, Lauri Bono & the Real Deal featuring Sisterhood perform, “Palm Springs Jump!” returns and Michael Holmes’ sensational The Judy Show! runs for four Sundays—plus one Saturday.
Jonathan Karrant returns to The Purple Room on Saturday, June 1 to celebrate not only some of his favorite songs ever written but also his birthday. Jonathan performs timeless songs from the American Songbook as well as puts his own fresh jazzy twist on pop songs. Come celebrate with this soulful crooner who brings charm, wit and laugher with him everywhere he goes.
On Friday, June 7 the high-energy musical revue of Palm Springs JUMP! pays tribute to legendary stars with Palm Springs connections from Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby to Lucille Ball, Keely Smith, Elvis Presley, Sonny Bono and many more. Palm Springs JUMP! is created by and features the talents of veteran singers Michael Holmes, Charles Herrera and Darci Daniels, plus the musical flair of Palm Springs celebrated pianist Joel Baker.
Scot Bruce brings a young Elvis Presley to life on Saturday, June 8 with his singing, guitar-playing, and hip-swaying. Scot is recognized as the country’s preeminent Elvis performer with CNN declaring, “The closest they can get to Elvis in the flesh is Scot Bruce.”
Kal David, Lauri Bono & The Real Deal will perform on Friday, June 14. This Chicago blues infused band features the dynamic guitar of Kal David in soulful vocal duet with Lauri Bono plus instrumental backing by the Real Deal. The evening will also feature a performance by Sisterhood, comprised of Lauri Bono, Rose Mallett, and Jessica Taylor. Lauri is inducted in the National Blues Hall of Fame and is also a composer, vocal arranger, session singer and producer. Rose and Jessica are both Living Legend Jazz Vocalists.
On Saturday, June 15, Lady Luck (Nicole Kaplan, Rachel Tyler, and Heidi Webster) will bring their Las Vegas Legends show, which has been entertaining audiences around the world, to the Purple Room stage. This trio of dynamic divas bring a stunning and magical performance with music from all genres, informed by their years of performing on Broadway, Hollywood, London’s West and and the Las Vegas Strip.
The multi-talented Sam Harris will perform twice at the Purple Room in June on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 28. As winner of Star Search in its premier season, Sam’s pop, gospel, and theater-influenced vocals launched him into a career spanning 9 studio CDs, multiple starring roles on Broadway, touring concerts, television and film production and acting, and a successful memoir and one-man-show.
Purple Room proprietor and entertainer Michael Holmes, owner of the desert’s premier supper club, will delight audiences with his highly popular, high-octane Judy Garland impersonation in “The Judy Show!” with pianist Joel Baker every Sunday: June 2, 9, 16, 23 as well as Saturday, June 29.
As a thank you to locals, The Purple Room is extending Happy Hour all night on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through the month of June, with free evening entertainment (no ticket or cover required) each night from 6:30–9:30 p.m.:

Thursdays: Sharon Sills, Sass Sex and Songs
Inspired by Sinatra’s favorite spirit, the Purple Room has launched “Frank’s Bourbon Bar” offering more than 50 rare and premium bourbons that include the ultra-exclusive and limited, Pappy Van Winkle from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky. Frank’s Bourbon Bar offers serval flights for patrons to experience a wide variety of bourbon and scotch whiskeys. Also, keep an eye out for special tasting events while in season.
The Purple Room, located at 1900 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, California 92264, opens every day at 4 p.m. (except Mondays, closed), with Happy Hour in the bar and lounge from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; and from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Ticketed shows on Friday and Saturday nights begin with dinner reservations at 6 p.m. and performances at 8 p.m. For “The Judy Show” on Sundays, dinner reservations are at 5 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Details and ticket information can be found at purpleroompalmsprings.com.
