Beginning in September, The Perez Art District’s highly anticipated Art Walk event moves to Fourth Fridays at 4pm. The season’s inaugural event is scheduled for September 22, 2023, promising an immersive experience for art enthusiasts and the local community.
Conveniently located at 68845 Perez Rd. in Cathedral City, California, The Perez Art District is home to a vibrant community of artists. Visitors to the district will have the opportunity to explore the working studios of over 30 talented artists in the H and I Buildings, with an additional 7 artists in the A and C Buildings. Additionally, there are art galleries and antiques dealers in the 68829 building, who plan to participate. The Art Walk offers a unique chance to witness the creative process across a variety of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
“We are moving our event to Fourth Fridays at 4pm because we wanted to offer an art experience on an alternative week to many of the other art events in the valley.
Hosting the art walk as a regular event for the community to enjoy, allows collectors and other visitors to watch the growth of an artist’s work overtime,” said Anne Bedrick, one of the founding artists in the district. “By opening up our studios to the public, we aim to foster a deeper connection between the artists and the community and to provide a dynamic platform for art appreciation.”
