Palm Springs Pride, the Coachella Valleyโ€™s oldest Pride organization, has announced the first-ever Pride Equality Walk, set to take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025. This landmark event will bring together advocates, allies, and community members to stand in solidarity for LGBTQ+ visibility, rights, and the ongoing fight for full equality.

A Legacy of Advocacy

Palm Springs has long been a beacon of LGBTQ+ inclusion and activism, and the Pride Equality Walk builds on that legacy. More than just a walk, this event is a powerful act of hope and unity, reinforcing the cityโ€™s commitment to justice and equality for all.

โ€œWith fundamental rights of our LGBTQ+ community under siege, the Pride Equality Walk is our united front,โ€ says Ron deHarte, President and CEO of Palm Springs Pride. โ€œOur amplified voices will not be silenced. Let our conviction ignite an unstoppable movement for a brighter, more equitable future.โ€

A Community United

The Pride Equality Walk is designed to educate, inspire, and celebrate the triumphs and challenges of LGBTQ+ individuals. It offers a visible platform to highlight the remarkable history and vibrant spirit of the community while fostering a deeper understanding of the ongoing fight for equality.

โ€œShowing up for this walk means something realโ€”itโ€™s about standing with each other, feeling that sense of belonging, and connecting with people who share these deeply held values and lived experiences,โ€ says William Rodriguez, President & Founder of Silvercrest. โ€œWeโ€™re honored to be the presenting sponsor and proud to walk alongside this incredible community.โ€
