Dolphin Promotions’ 20th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale and the related Modern Design Expo set a new record for the number of attendees at its annual event, held in Palm Springs during Modernism Week 2020. More than 15,675 people attended the popular sale at the Palm Springs Convention Center, up nearly 10% from the previous year making the shows the most well-attended in the company’s history. Additionally, more than 1,200 attendees participated in the opening night event that benefitted Modernism Week. The show will return to Palm Springs for the Modernism Week Fall Preview Oct. 18-21, 2020 and again February 12-15, 2021 in conjunction with Modernism Week.

The Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale is the largest modernism show in the U.S. and regularly draws thousands of attendees from around the world. More than 90 top-tier national and international exhibitors presented the very best of vintage 20th century design, focusing heavily on mid-century modern. The Modernism Show & Sale was accompanied by the Palm Springs Modern Design Expo that showcased contemporary cutting-edge home design products and technology from more than 40 exhibitors. Attendees had the opportunity to explore both shows with the same entry ticket.

“The 2020 Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale and Modern Design Expo was by far
the largest and most well-attended of the Palm Springs shows in our company’s history,” said Rosemary Krieger, President of Dolphin Promotions. “Many exhibitors in the Modernism Show and the Modern Design Expo reported strong sales all weekend.
