The show highlights all the magic and excitement of the Summer of Love along with the intensity and life-changing experience of Woodstock. This period of time created milestones in the musical path of the 60’s and 70’s. New genres of music were created by the artistry of such mavericks as Simon and Garfunkel, Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Drifters, Righteous Brothers, Mamas and Papas, Martha and the Vandellas, Everly Brothers, The Association and The Beach Boys. Entertainment TV programs Soul Train and Dick Clark’s American Band Stand made these performers household names. Hitch a ride on the Love Bus as we take a journey down memory lane.
The mission of the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus is to be a chorus of gay men who, through musical excellence, community outreach and civic responsibility, are dedicated to entertaining, inspiring, and educating the culturally diverse community in which we live.
