Committed to serving the community it loves, the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus (PSGMC) will be performing a series of shows highlighting the best of Broadway, Film and TV.

PSGMC will be “Hitting New Heights” with stars of Broadway Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked and Hamilton) and Javier Muñoz (In the Heights and Hamilton) where they will join voices to celebrate Broadway’s hottest composers, from Stephen Schwartz to Lin-Manuel Miranda. “The Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus members are thrilled to be asked to perform with Broadway legends Mandy Gonzalez and Javier Munoz at the beautiful McCallum Theater. The excitement among our singers is quite evident,” said Alan McPhail, President, PSGMC.

In September 2022, Mandy finished her 1,659th performance as Angelica Schuyler in “Hamilton” on Broadway. Besides Hamilton, she is best known for her emotional portrayal of Nina Rosario in the Tony® Award winning, Lin-Manuel Miranda Broadway musical “In The Heights,” a role she originally created Off Broadway receiving a Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble. She starred as Elphaba on Broadway in “Wicked,” blowing the roof off of the Gershwin Theatre each night, for which she received a Award for Best Replacement. Javier Muñoz is an American actor, singer and HIV and Cancer survivor. He is best known for his performances on Broadway and was the hand-chosen replacement for Lin-Manuel Miranda as Usnavi de la Vega in the 2008 musical “In the Heights” and as Alexander Hamilton in the 2015 musical Hamilton, in which he played the title role from July 11, 2016, until January 14, 2018. CLICK TO HEAR JAVIER SINGING LOVE DON’T NEED A REASON!
