The Palm Springs City Council is seeking applicants interested in applying for a voluntary leadership role to serve on one of several City Boards and Commissions.
Positions are currently available on the following:
- Administrative Appeals Board
- Airport Commission
- Architectural Advisory Commission
- Historic Site Preservation Board
- Library Board of Trustees
- Measure J Commission
- Parks and Recreation Commission
- Planning Commission
- Public Arts Commission
- Sustainability Commission
- VillageFest Board
The deadline to apply is Monday, May 10. Applicants must either live, work, or go to school within the City of Palm Springs. Applicants under the age of 18 will also be considered. In addition, the City Council may also consider unique knowledge, skill, or experience in appointing a member to a Board or Commission.
“We encourage all citizens interested in serving on a Board or Commission to apply now because the City is immediately looking to recruit for open positions,” said City Clerk Anthony Mejia.
