Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) will be taking audiences on a musical journey about wishes, family and the choices we make, with its production of Into The Woods, running May 13 – May 22.

Into The Woods brings everyone’s favorite Brothers Grimm classic fairytale characters together, from Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel, for this timeless live musical. Book by James Lapine and Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

This epic show follows a Baker (David Brooks) and his wife (Francesca Amari,) who wish to have a child, but cannot because of a curse that had been cast on them by a Witch; Cinderella (Ana Rangel,) who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack (Anthony Nannini,) who wishes his cow would give milk. Each seeks out their wish, only to ultimately discover the meaning behind the saying, “be careful what you wish for.” (Some additional cast members include: Se Layne, Ben Reece, Kam Sisco and Eric Stein-Steele.)

Into The Woods runs May 13 – May 22, 2022. Show times are 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $32-$36. Student tickets are for $15.
