The Palm Springs Gay Softball League (PSGSL)—home of the Gay Softball World Series National Champions Rounders 2.0 —is kicking off its 2018 Fall Season with two New Player Skills Clinics on Sunday, Aug. 26th and Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018. Both clinics begin at 8 a.m. and will be held at Demuth Park Field No. 7, located in Palm Springs at 4365 Mesquite Avenue, just east of El Cielo Road.
The New Player Clinics are open to anyone interested in joining the Palm Springs Gay Softball League, a non-profit slow pitch softball league started in 2004 for the LGBTQ community that today has 14 teams and over 200 participants from across the Coachella Valley. The clinics will be led by Jeff Hermann, coach of the Rounders 2.0 National Champions, who will work with players on fielding, hitting and throwing. The clinics are free to attend but do require registration at www.psgsl.org. Participants are encouraged to bring their glove, cleats and plenty of water.
