Lyft is the preferred rideshare partner for Greater Palm Springs Pride, making it even easier to get a responsible ride to and from the action. That will include a Lyft Lounge at the corner of Indian Canyon Drive and Arenas Road with phone charging stations, photo booths, a dj sponsored by Toucans Tiki Lounge and much more! Additionally, as part of Lyft’s commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, a portion of all rides taken during the weekend will be donated to the following three local organizations:
- Greater Palm Springs Pride
- The LGBT Community Center of the Desert
- Desert AIDS Project
As a company, Lyft places an emphasis on upholding an inclusive and diverse environment. One of Lyft’s core values is to ‘be yourself,’ and we’re proud to celebrate Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community. The Lyft app also includes a range of pronoun options inclusive of transgender and non-binary drivers and riders, as well as assistance for transitioning drivers.
