The City of Palm Springs is gearing up for a major boost to local shopping with the launch of the Love Local Summer Gift Card Program on July 13, giving residents and visitors an incentive to support the small businesses that define the city’s character. According to the release, “Love Local Palm Springs is back, giving residents and visitors more buying power while supporting the local businesses that make Palm Springs a one-of-a-kind destination.”
More than 130 participating businesses across Palm Springs will accept the digital gift cards, which can be purchased in denominations of $100, $200, or $300, with a $300 maximum per person. The city is also offering a generous 50 percent bonus added to every card purchased beginning July 13—an incentive designed to encourage shopping, dining, and staying local during the summer months. As the release notes, “We know summer can be challenging for many local businesses. We encourage residents and visitors alike to shop, dine, and stay local and to invest in the businesses that help define Palm Springs.”
Bonus funds will be added only to purchases made on or after July 13 and will remain valid through October 31, 2026, while the original gift card value never expires. Shoppers can purchase cards, review terms, and browse participating businesses at LoveLocalPS.com.
