A group of four local candidates in November’s election will attend an LGBTQ+ Candidates Forum at the Desert Hot Springs Health & Recreation Center, 11750 Cholla Drive 92240 on Wednesday, May 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The event is sponsored by DiversityDHS.org. Admission is free and residents are encouraged to attend because they will get the opportunity to hear each candidate’s vision for California, and get to speak with them one-on-one to get their questions answered.
Candidates attending the LGBTQ+ forum are:
- Christy Holstege, candidate for California Assembly, District 47
- Lisa Middleton, Candidate for California Senate seat, District 19
- Ron Oden, Candidate for College of the Desert, Area 3
- Will Rollins, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, 41st District of California
A special Video Greeting will be presented with Dr. Raul Ruiz, congressman for the 24th district. Light refreshments will be served.
