The need is great and, with an abundance of caution, JFS will be opening its offices for in-person counseling beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2020, and will continue to offer popular “Telehealth” counseling to those who prefer that platform. In reopening the office, JFS will be following all State, County and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention safety protocol guidelines. Throughout the 3-month closure, JFS has been committed to providing stellar services to the Coachella Valley through their “Telehealth” program, which has enabled the counselors to stay engaged with their clients with no lapse of service. JFS is the recipient of the 2020 GuideStar Platinum Seal of Transparency.
“As we navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, the health, safety and wellness of our entire staff, clients and volunteers is our utmost priority as we begin to open our doors for in-person counseling,” said Kraig Johnson, Executive Director, JFS Desert. Mr. Johnson was recently named JFS Desert’s Executive Director.
For anyone interested in scheduling an in-person counseling session for yourself or if you know anyone who has a need for counseling or financial assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact JFS by phone or by email.
