Superheroes.

They range from the comic book kind to the frontline workers fighting the pandemic.  On this week’s #ILoveGayPalmSprings podcast, we talk about both.  Kraven Comics creates a world of LGBTQ super heroes with whom we can identify. It’s a ground-breaking comic book series that tackles many tough topics that we have  faced.  There are the health care workers, like Dr. Laura Rush, who are working tirelessly to save lives.  And there are the many unsung heroes doing things – big and small – to make our world a better place. We talk with a two on the podcast.

There are many opportunities for you to “do good” and be a hero this holiday season.  From supporting Toy Drives to donating time and treasure to our food banks, every little bit helps.  As we go into another lockdown in our tourist-driven economy, it’s time to really #ShopLocal, #WearADamnMask and to obey the measures put in place.  That will make you a superhero in your own right.

Rely on GayDesertGuide.LGBT to keep you updated on the virtual events happening this holiday season, along with our Fun & Games events including an Inauguration  Happy Hour and LGBTQ tours of major world museums.  Plus support local with a HOT DEAL, gift cards from our local merchants at up to 50% off.
