Frontier Airlines, the ultra-low fare carrier, is making a comeback to Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) with new nonstop services to Denver International Airport (DEN) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) starting December 12. These routes will operate three times a week, with introductory fares as low as $19.

Josh Flyr, Frontier’s Vice President of Network and Operations Design, expressed excitement about the airline’s return to Palm Springs, highlighting the rapid growth in California. “Whether consumers are looking to travel to the Bay Area, the Rocky Mountains, or beyond, it is our privilege to offer them convenient and affordable travel options at PSP,” Flyr stated.

With this expansion, Frontier will serve nine markets in California, solidifying its position as the fastest-growing intrastate carrier in the state.

Harry Barrett Jr., Executive Director of Aviation at Palm Springs International Airport, welcomed Frontier’s return, noting the increased travel options for passengers. “With this new service, travelers have more choices than ever before, enhancing connectivity from Palm Springs to major destinations and beyond,” Barrett said.

New Service Details:

  • Denver (DEN): Starting December 12, 2024, operating three times a week with fares starting at $49.
  • San Francisco (SFO): Starting December 12, 2024, operating three times a week with fares starting at $19.
