The Roles That Got Away

Palm Canyon Theatre presents "The Roles That Got Away," a one-night cabaret celebrating dream roles, musical theatre “what ifs,” and humorous miscast moments, performed by favorite PCT performers.

Age, gender, type? Who cares—it’s showtime.

This special one-night performance features some of Palm Canyon Theatre’s favorite performers stepping outside traditional casting to sing songs from roles they’ve always wanted to play. From unlikely character choices to unexpected Broadway favorites, the evening embraces the fun, freedom, and imagination of musical theatre.

Directed by Derik Shopinski, the cabaret-style concert offers a lively mix of humor, heart, and show-stopping numbers as performers explore the roles that might never appear on their résumé—but have always lived on their wish list.

The Roles That Got Away takes place Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Palm Canyon Theatre. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35.
