Join Mizell Center, scholars and community leaders in a conversation examining the historic and social complexity of Juneteenth.

What are the lessons the holiday imparts historically and currently?

What are the implications for social democracy, community-building and cultivating a climate of hope?

A gospel recital follows the conversation.
