HOST: Bonnie Gilgallon
Bonnie is an award-winning actress who received the prestigious Bill Kulhman Award from the Desert Theatre League in 2013. She hosts a weekend entertainment show, “The Desert Scene” on Radio 111. Past guests include Peter Marshall, Debbie Reynolds and Linda Ronstadt. Her first CD “If I Love Again,” was released in 2018. Bonnie writes theatre reviews for CV Independent, and was honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in May 2017.
Co-Host Joel Brown
Joel has anchored his talent in historic and contemporary music of African Americans. He toured European concert halls and the U.S. with the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers, performed for Barry Manilow, Audra McDonald, and Wayne Brady, and has starred in operatic and theatrical productions.
Special Guest: James May
James May, music director; James has been music director for many shows in the Phoenix area, including Arizona Broadway Theater and Theaterworks. Earlier he returned from two years in Spain as music director for THE LION KING. On Broadway, Jim conducted TEDDY AND ALICE, LES MISERABLES, and SUNSET BOULEVARD.
