For over 50 years The Living Desert Zoo has been a premiere attraction in the Coachella Valley and key driver of our local economy. Additionally, we are a globally recognized conservation organization leading over 80 conservation projects worldwide.

Our newest endeavor, Lion Ridge, will introduce African lions to our visitors and allow us to educate and empower them to take meaningful actions to benefit this crucial keystone species.

PRIDE for the Pride is our new initiative, created by a group of new and longtime TLD supporters. P4TP brings the LGBTQ+ community together to work towards achieving the goal of building Lion Ridge and telling the important story of lions and their critically endangered status- to support this important species while also showing our community and visitors the impact and commitment of our local LGBTQ+ community.
