Palm Springs Speaks will conclude Season Seven with a special evening featuring actress and author Jennie Garth in conversation with veteran journalist Thalia Hayden on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 pm at the historic Plaza Theatre. Garth will discuss her career and her new book, I Choose Me: Chasing Joy and Finding Purpose and Embracing Reinvention, releasing April 14, 2026, offering insight into her creative path, personal evolution, and the themes that shaped her latest work. Hayden, a longtime NBC News anchor in the Coachella Valley and an experienced moderator, will guide the conversation. The program promises an engaging mix of storytelling and reflection, followed by a book signing with Garth. The event is part of the Friends of the Palm Springs Library’s Palm Springs Speaks series, presented throughout the Plaza Theatre’s inaugural season.
