Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical is the record-setting Broadway holiday sensation which features the hit songs “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas” from the original animated special. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville and helps remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season. This popular Festival is a dynamic live platform for dancemakers and dancers to showcase their work and powerfully engages audiences around dance in the Coachella Valley. Exciting original dances in various styles are performed by companies from across the nation with winners announced at the conclusion of each performance. Saturday evening includes a Lifetime Achievement presentation, while Sunday afternoon showcases local dancers participating in East Valley Dance Project. Celebrating dance as an art form, this unique event delivers an exciting variety of new work created by inventive choreographers and performed by extraordinary dancers.

Sutton’s turn in the musical’s esteemed revival run began with the critically adored adaptation at the New York City Center Encores! in early 2024. Prior, Sutton was seen starring as Mrs. Lovett in the Tony Award winning Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street opposite Aaron Tveit at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

Storm Large: musician, actor, playwright, author, awesome. She shot to national prominence in 2006 as a finalist on the CBS show Rock Star: Supernova, where despite having been eliminated in the week before the finale, Storm built a fan base that follows her around the world to this day. Storm appeared on the 2021 season of America’s Got Talent.

The program includes 15 musicians playing more than 20 instruments against the backdrop of dazzling multimedia effects – capturing the spirit of the season in an immersive yet intimate setting.

Jim Caruso is known for hosting the weekly Jim Caruso’s Cast Party at New York’s historic Birdland for more than twenty years. Birdland is a vibrant scene where Broadway stars and aspiring artists come together for a great time. In addition to his successful solo career, Billy Stritch is renowned as the musical director and accompanist for artists like Liza Minelli, Tony Bennett, Marilyn Maye, Linda Lavin, and Christine Ebersole.
The evening begins at 6pm in the Grand Lobby with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Then we’ll continue the night onstage with “Caruso – Cocktails – Canapes & Stritch.”
