Armed with his Spanish guitar and a stage full of musicians and elaborately choreographed dancers, Benise takes the audience on a musical journey through Spanish Flamenco, Cuban Salsa, Brazilian Samba, Parisian Waltz, exotic drumming, and more!  

Benise (pronounced Buh-nes-say) shattered the mold of Spanish guitar by combining world music and dance โ€“ the only show of its kind!

Costumes are welcome, and props are permitted provided they are made of soft materials (i.e. plastic light sabers, cloth props) NO SHARP OR METAL ITEMS WILL BE PERMITTED.

For security purposes, all guests must keep their faces visible; no full-face coverings or masks permitted. I.e. Anakin Skywalker okay, Darth Vader not.

The ARTS TEACH KIDS program represents the Plaza Theatre's commitment to community engagement and educational outreach following its complete restoration. The historic venue, a Palm Springs cultural landmark since 1936, is currently undergoing renovations to transform it into a state-of-the-art performing arts destination while preserving its iconic character.

The Westminster Chorus

Under the direction of Dr. Dan Wessler, The Westminster Chorus is the 2009 โ€˜Choir of the Worldโ€™ Pavarotti Trophy winner and the International Chorus Gold Medalist of the Barbershop Harmony Society for 2007, 2010, 2015, 2019, and 2024. Uniquely composed of young and committed singers, the chorus in its current organization formed in 2002. They are the male performance and competition chorus of the Westminster, California Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), with a mission of providing and encouraging an inclusive community for youth in Southern California and around the world to engage in lifelong singing, music, and artistic expression.
