Materias Primas presents JOY'N US, a multimedia exhibition by VR filmmaker Travis Hutchison drawn from photographer Frank Diernhammer's newly discovered archive — a celebration of gay male life and the male physique in the 1970s. Hundreds of unseen vintage prints, silver gelatin portraits, rare 8mm film, and photos of the 1975 LA Pride Parade appear alongside 50+ issues of The Advocate and Hutchison's VR installation Antonio Lopez / Juan Ramos: Virtual Reality. Ten percent of art sales benefit DAP Health.
Open Thursday–Monday, 11 AM–4 PM. Extended Pride Week hours (Nov 2–8): daily 10 AM–6 PM.
