Fall Exhibition Party

Event Details

Palm Springs Art Museum announces its Fall Exhibitions Party on Saturday, November 18, 2023, to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition, Kali, Artographer, 1932-2019, as well as several other ongoing exhibitions. Attendees are encouraged to join the museum for a night of creativity, mysticism, and whimsy. The evening will feature live musical performances, tunes by DJ AI Lover, signature cocktails by Bar One, snacks from Little Livs' Chef Gabe Woo, interactive performances, takeaways, and much more!

Kali was an experimental photographer who moved to Palm Springs in the '60s, and toiled in near obscurity for decades. It was only after her death in 2019 that a trove of never-before-see images were discovered in her home. To embrace the psychedelic spirit of the '60s and '70s which is reflected in Kali's work, attendees are asked channel the era in their attire with bold colors, patterns, hypnotic visuals, and free-spirited vibes; chic interpretations that pay homage to the iconic era and that will stand out from the crowd.

Tickets to the party are $20 for museum members, $25 for non-members.

Member hour: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.; General public: 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.
