Transgender Health and Wellness Center Equality Garden Party

Transgender Health and Wellness Center Equality Garden Party Fundraiser is on Thursday, January 25th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. Please come join this casual social event to support LGBTQ+ equality with free drinks and hors d'oeuvres at Rios Ranch in Palm Springs.

The Transgender Health & Wellness Center serves the Transgender, Gender Diverse and Intersex community and allies in three locations, Palm Springs, the City of Riverside and San Diego. From 2018 to 2021 they have served 3,027 persons with a wide variety of social services, peer support, free mental health, linkage to care, housing, and food assistance, resume and job placement, and hair removal.

As seen across the nation the Transgender community continues to be the target of hate and inequality through radical right-wing persons and legislation. This community continues to face systemic barriers to access healthcare, employment, housing and basic human needs.

Your contribution and attendance will help Transgender Health & Wellness Center provide housing to our homeless community members and expand our youth services at the Marsha P. Johnson LGBTQ+ Youth Drop in Center.
