Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter DBA Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
We operate the Palm Springs Animal Shelter on behalf of the city of Palm Springs and other programs like the Desert Wildlife Center.
We envision a world where every animal is shown kindness and compassion. A place where respect for all living beings is the norm.
Committed to being a humane and compassionate animal care and adoption center, the shelter does not euthanize animals for space or for length of stay. As a public, open admissions shelter, we provide a safe haven for all adoptable animals, those requiring rehabilitation training, and those requiring minor to severe medical treatment.
To meet the challenge of compassionately operating a public shelter, Friends relies on donations, volunteers, community support, and ADOPTIONS!
