National headliner POPPY CHAMPLIN kicks off a new stand-up comedy series “LAST LAUGH WEDNESDAY” at Oscar’s Palm Springs on July 28 and continuing the last Wednesday of every month.
The winner of America’s Funniest Real Woman on The Joan Rivers Show, Poppy was featured on Entertainment Tonight! Her numerous television appearances include Showtime, LOGO, Comics Unleashed, Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Oprah. Yes, she’s that good!
Poppy has opened for superstars Bill Maher, Ray Ramano, Denis Leary, Bill Hicks and Rosie O’Donnell. Club appearances range from Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, the Comedy Cellar, Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory and she’s a regular in Provincetown.
As a staff writer for Fox’s “Show Me the Funny” Poppy wrote, starred in and produced her comedy pilot “News you Can’t Use.”

Mitchell has created shows at Oscars and several other venues in LA and Coachella Valley.
