On Monday, March 24, 2025, the SAGE & Friends event at Living Out Palm Springs brought the community together to honor two remarkable individuals: Brad Fuhr and Katherine Forrest. Katherine Forrest, an acclaimed author and LGBTQ+ activist, is celebrated for her groundbreaking Kate Delafield mystery series, which features one of the first lesbian detectives in fiction. Her work has significantly increased LGBTQ+ representation in literature and continues to inspire advocacy for equality and inclusion.
Living Out Palm Springs, a vibrant LGBTQ+ 55+ community, graciously hosted the event, underscoring its commitment to fostering inclusivity and connection.
