Grammy-nominated singer, song-writer, and actor Cheyenne Jackson will headline the 8th annual Center Stage gala, presented by Eisenhower Medical Center on Friday, October 27, 2018 at the Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, benefitting The LGBT Community Center of the Desert (The Center).
Fresh off his role on FX's American Horror Story, Cheyenne has had a wealth of roles on and off Broadway, including starring in The Performers, 8, Finian's Rainbow, Damn Yankees, Xanadu, Aida, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and more. Cheyenne has released several studio albums, his most recent, Renaissance, and has collaborated with the likes of Sia and Charlotte Sometimes. No stranger to sold-out shows in the Coachella Valley, Cheyenne has performed at both the McCallum Theatre and the Annenberg Theater.
Cheyenne will be joined by comedienne Kate Clinton, back by popular demand to host Center Stage for the fourth consecutive year. The evening will feature a silent auction, program, dinner, and after-party, all designed to advance The Center's mission of creating vibrant community. New this year, attendees will be able to take advantage of The Center's partnership with Lyft, Official Ridesharing Sponsor of Center Stage, and receive a 20% discount for rides to and from the event.
