The new LGBT production company ‘Bear World TV’ is coming to town this weekend to film at International Bear Convergence. Bear World TV embraces all things LGBT with a bear flavour and their coverage of International Bear Convergence is the first time that a Bear event has received the TV treatment! Gay Desert Guide is working with Bear World TV to set up shoots at select businesses in Palm Springs.

International Bear Convergence is the premier winter event for bears and admirers. Every February, Palm Springs opens its arms and welcomes thousands of bears to the hip Hard Rock Hotel. The four-day event comes to life with pool parties, world-renowned DJs and huge dance parties at night.

Bear World TV will be filming all the pool parties, special events and dance parties into a one hour special airing on Amazon later in the year. Interviews with the stars of the weekend, including the legendary Martha Wash, will help viewers understand and appreciate what an amazing experience International Bear Convergence is and inspiring them to visit Palm Springs and IBC next year.

Richard Jones, CEO of Bear World TV said: “We’ve always loved IBC. It gives the Bear community a great way of escaping the winter weather by coming out to the desert oasis that is Palm Springs to meet up with old friends and make new ones. We’re proud to be the first production company to solely feature a Bear event and we can’t wait to share the results of our filming with the world!”

Bear World TV is also in Palm Springs working on another exciting concept, news of which will be dropping in Spring so watch this space!

If you’re at IBC keep your eye out for the camera and you might be on TV!

Bear World TV is the sister company to the hugely successful Bear World Magazine. Check out articles on IBC and a whole lot more at
