The Management Trust – Desert Division is gearing up for their Sixth Annual Spirit of Hope dinner and gala to celebrate the Bob Hope USO at Palm Springs. The event will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Agua Caliente Resort and Casino. The evening will include a silent auction, live auction, raffle prizes and a gourmet dinner.
The dinner is to celebrate the outstanding volunteers who give their time along with current and former military members. This has become the largest single-day event to benefit the Bob Hope USO at Palm Springs.
The Management Trust is committed to serving our local community in many ways. The company is located in 7 western states that each have a unique demographic. Each division supports local charities based on input from their team members. Six years ago, they became aware of the needs of the Bob Hope USO at Palm Springs.
Because of our proximity to Twentynine Palms Marine Corps base, they are extremely busy providing services to active duty service members. The volunteers work countless hours providing soft drinks, coffee, tea, water and snacks to visitors waiting for departing flights or transportation to the Marine Corps base at Twentynine Palms. The Palm Springs Center also serves as the base of operations for USO outreach programs throughout the area. Such outreach programs include homecomings, deployments and holiday celebrations.
